A day will come when I’ll share the tales of my life,
Elucidate on my life cycle for all to relate,
The kids, teenagers and adults.
A day will dawn when I will narrate.
Tell you that I was born somewhere in Africa
In a golden country called Kenya, and
Lived in the Rift Valley region.
I will share all about where I schooled.
Inform girls that the lane is arched,
And everything is a process, including breathing.
Remind boys of flesh they are made,
And flesh stays fresh only if it discharges the waste.
To parents and guardians, in details I’ll enlighten about bullying,
Tell them to open the third eye,
And take a closer look at how their children
walk, talk and laugh.
The world I’ll educate about introversion.
Introverts aren’t bewitched, terrified or oblivious, nor a waste of skin.
To the introverts I will tell them,
“It is okay to be you ‘cause you are the finest creation.”
To the lonely I will share
how I made friends and how friends found me,
How I found love and how love found me,
It is okay to stay alone but also toxic.
The rejected I’ll ask to hang in there.
Healing starts with self appreciation,
and what is fabricated in mind,
Is always reflected in the mirror of the world.
I’ll let you know that we learn from mistakes,
it is in order to try everything when you can,
Share with you what mistakes I made and
How I made them.
About love I’ll chat,
Tell you to love one another regardless of the variances,
Nothing is greater than love
‘cause it beats all odds.
It will come a time when the tales I’ll dispense,
merry and blue chapters,
Sweet and bitter phases.
A day will come when it’ll all be voiced.
