The entire room was disheveled,
A raggedy guy kept pacing back and forth,
Musing, making me more uptight,
It took a ton on me to even sit upright,
My knees were knocking badly,
The hall was full of mumbles,
Calamity was coming,
And none was prepared,
I regretted the wasted hours of night,
Hours spent in clubs, hours squandered,
I was surely dammed,
The infamous moment docked,
The question sheet was sprawled on my front,
Its white glaring,
The words daunting,
I buckled up for a landslide,
The creeps swathed,
My stomach churned and leaped,
It felt like I was close to throwing up,
I dreaded,
Nervously, I straightened my glasses,
The one’s I had ditched for contact lenses,
My senses tingled,
I peeked at my neighbour’s sheet,
It was as virgin as an untilled piece of land,
All was established, I was a roasted duck.
