I’M OUT

Yes I want out
Off course I asked her out
She said no with a shout
I promised not to let it out
But here I said it loud
Maybe I was too proud
To accept the things on the ground
But I thought she could turn things around
So yes it was worth it
Because without it
I would be in it
A problem shared
Is half solved
Yes I was scared
But I dared
Rejection is half heartbreak
It hits you without a break
It did and I was hurt
I started wearing a hat
Because pretending is also an art
I’m out because I spoke
If not I would have had a stroke
I would have swallowed pain till I choke
So speak out
Reach out
Let the pain out
