SHE MATTERS

For too long, the narrative has been different for them

They have no voice

They cannot lay their thoughts on the table

And if they try to aim high or pursue

That’s an issue too

It sounds like, they belong at home only

It is said, “If you educate a girl, you educate an entire village”

Why then are we holding them back?

Why are we suffocating their potential by throwing certain labelled beliefs on them?

End goal for the world is growth and development

And so far we do realize they are and can be great contributors

They have a nurturing characteristic

So empowering them, or giving them a voice or a chance to education means a wholistic benefit for them and the society at large

Let’s stop looking at it as competition

Rather a chance for growth and development
