I see love, in all with a beating heart,
Love in all who once had a beating heart.
Beauty flowing out of all voices,
Kindness in thoughts.
I see goodness in all humans.
No! I am not blind to the bloodshed.
I can see the injustices,
Hear the cries,
I still feel the hatred and see the destruction,
All caused by my fellow humans.
I choose to see the goodness,
That resides in humans,
I choose to see the beauty of imperfect humans,
Because only then will I treat you as a human.
I choose to see a fellow human.
