I’ve mastered the art of hiding my feelings,
Smiling when deep inside I want to scream,
And let my heart burn in a furnace of sadness,
While keeping me warm in her fiery heat,
I’ve mastered the art of hiding my feelings,
Because I know solitude is my best friend,
She tells what I want and don’t want to hear,
At least she listens and doesn’t judge me,
I’ve mastered the art of hiding my feelings,
Even on days I feel lonely around my friends,
Regretting why I left my best friend at home,
And no one will notice how I feel inside,
I’ve mastered the art of hiding my feelings,
So good that on the outside I’m a happy child,
That one day my soul might give up on me,
And no one will understand or know why and how,
