Feels like yesterday,
When i found out you existed,
I was only 16 but i was so excited about you,
Your father promised he will never break both our hearts,
But he smashed your heart into pieces,
I had no idea how a simple headache pill he offered me will bring so much damage,
Turns out it was a pill to kill you my child,
He never wanted you to see how beautiful the sun is,
Or how much i loved watching the stars,
I was very gullible to believe that he cared about us,
Now all am left with is some memories,
How gentle you kicked in my tummy,
How eager you were to see the world,
And all that your father took away from you,
Now i will never know if you hold my beautiful smile,
Or you loved to twist your arm like your father,
I pray that you will forgive me one day,
I live in regret and blame the choices i made,
I chose a man who never cared about you,
Now you have no idea on how it feels to be alive today,
But you are in a better place,
Full of love and joy

She wanted to forget
Forget how wasted she felt
Forget all the loses she would get
For she was already carrying the fruits of her mess
He was out of sight
But never out of mind
She was carrying his kid
Who wouldn’t mind?
Knowing there is yet another mouth to feed?
Obviously she has to get rid of it
For sure it wasn’t fit
But come to think of it…?
