Sometimes I feel I don’t deserve

I don’t deserve to be loved by you

I wonder if you feel the same way

Or am I just running from the feeling?

Sometimes I feel I don’t deserve

The kindness and warmth you give

Makes me question your intentions

Drowning me deep in this dark abyss

Sometimes I feel I don’t deserve

Anything in this wide world

Even memory flashes make me doubt

Have I set myself this low that it feels this new?

Sometimes I feel I don’t deserve

I don’t even deserve me

Because I hurt myself so much

Does the chance to redeem myself exist?
