TUSC [3] Contributor – Poets

Job Description

• We are looking for poets to contribute to the 3rd volume of the Unspoken Chronicles [TUSC] project. The TUSC is a series of themed compilations of the sweetest love letters and confessions from the heart voiced through poetry.
• This book is more than just a collection of romantic letters or hopeless romantics. It’s about letting individuals express themselves and find no shame in spreading love. it’s about encouraging people and inspiring people to come forward with what they feel, regardless of what happens after.
• The submissions will be compiled and made available to the general public as has been the tradition since the launch of the project in 2019.
• Have something you wanna dedicate to your personal person or longtime crush? Well here’s your chance at love confessions

The theme for this volume is: “From My Heart to Yours”

Responsibilities

• To write poems that relate to the above theme, in a way that is easily understood.

Qualifications

• Must be a poet.
• Must have an understanding of mental health issues and the importance of good mental health for an individual.
• Must be familiar with different forms of expression

Application Expectations:

• 2 samples of your poetry on the running theme
  • Each poem has to be at least 20 lines long and at most 50 lines.
  • Each poem has to be within the running theme; otherwise, your sample will be disqualified.
    • [For clarification, we will only accept love letters so ~ make it as romantic as possible.]
  • Make sure your penname and contact details are indicated in the document.

• Please note that these samples are meant to assess your understanding of the current theme and will only be published as your first entry when you make it to the TUSC team. Otherwise, they will not be published anywhere.
