Take Me Back, Life

Everyone wants to fit in somewhere,
Be it in a crowd,
To feel the new fashion,
To explore what everyone feels is right,
To fit in the society, to be loved and accepted by mates.

Why don’t you want a drink?
The question feels like a warning,
The inner piece of me does not want it,
But I must fit in so that I don’t lose friends,
Trying to be someone else everyday,
Losing family trying to be someone else again,
Losing the desire to dream for a better future.

I don’t know who I am anymore,
I want myself back,
Please help,
Somebody help me!
Sobs everyday can’t take this pain away,
I don’t want to be with family anymore.

I’m so lost,
Listen to me,
This pain is unbearable,
All I want is to be heard and not rebuked,
Just hold me and take me back life,
Give me another chance life.
