LIFTING THE BAN
The girl she liked
Became the girl she loved
The love she felt
Become the forbiden passion
She risked being burnished
But she hoped they will lift the ban
Whatever she felt was nothing less than a curse
As the society “termed” from time to time
They tried to change her
But she still gazed at the curves
Their insensitivity only strengthened her stability
The gravity of her mistake couldn’t match her brevity
She went for her and she submitted to her
The laws of the land confused her inlaws
But they still thrived in breaking the law
It was evident even behind bars
Their love knew no boundaries
For she would still glare at her beautiful face and smile
It was an addictive sin
They were ready for the wrath of the deities
Their passion would still burn in hell
Just in case destiny agreed they had committed a felony
They ruled their world and love had never felt more sweet in crime.
