They say all dreams are valid. Well, his was way more authentic, only that it didn’t hit him anymore, that it was becoming a nightmare growing more scary each passing moment.
As a little boy , he was very hard headed coz he barely listened to what his parents were telling him despite his overly wrongly ripen behavior. A newspaper cut gave out the smoke he was looking for. And he felt good about it. He breathed in, took longer to breathe out and loved it.
He was lucky in a way because his father earned a living by selling newspapers and every time he would come home with the remaining ones. These gave an awakening feeling to Josh. He had a relief right there and he was slowly being addicted. Smokey newspapers. Smoked by Josh. What a breaking news.
He was slowly becoming addicted to what was being overlooked by many as it never seemed so serious. Ten years down the line, he had started doing cigarettes. He said they made him feel at ease and not yearning for so much that he couldn’t afford. This whatsoever was not the end of his fall down. He grew upgrading from the simplest form of drug to the hard ones.
He no longer does newspapers, I mean who even smokes that ? Cigars to him are now for low lives. Mary Jane is still on his system, he does it ones in a while with friends along or even in his hideout when that desire overpowers him. Newly wed is cocaine and heroin. He can easily afford. He now has his own money. Which almost 80% of it goes to drugs. Is this stupidity or stupid addiction?
As a matter of fact, he has been to rehab, two times. But coming back clean two days then goes back to dealing them drugs again. His addiction is just like attraction that has bonded with him so badly ,if taken off he can run out of breathe. He is wasted. He is loosing it. Loosing every part of him he don’t know who he is anymore.
He is scared of hallucinations as they take him to dark places where he probably don’t want to visit. He regrets having ever started so small and now he is feeling to small. Time is ticking and the atmosphere around Josh is getting compressed per second.
He needs a breathe of life. To bring him back to the sane life and flush away the fictional living that is wildly filling his aura.
It’s not as late. Is it? It probably is coz he is already addicted. But for us, the revivers, it’s not as late. We can still lend a hand, a word or even an advice.
Shall we?
