She gave him the sun,
too bright was it for him,
So he hid in the shade.
She gave him the moon,
available only in the night,
So he walked away.
She gave him her love,
too little was it,
to satisfy his insatiable appetite.
She gave him her heart,
he broke it and threw the
pieces to her face.
She gave him her world,
too small was it for his
ego to fit.
Now she has nothing left
’cause he took everything from her,
and flushed it down the drain.
She has nothing to offer the world,
and the world is slowly abandoning her,
She got nowhere to seek asylum.
