YOU are a very IMPORTANT person.  So OWN it.

♏”Don’t cry, emotions make you weak, vulnerable is pathetic, this is not a place for the weak, if you can’t toughen up you might as well die, there’s no space for you here, tears? you crying? Y’know you ain’t the first to go through this. Others have gone through worse shut than you. You broken? Should we fix you up?

The society isn’t a place for people like you. Die. Pick up the razor. Slit that arm. Add another. You’re worthless anyway. So you crying again? Should we get you a bucket? You depressed? Should we hold a party for you huh? You angry? Then break yourself. Toughen up.

We all die eventually. That’s not news. So you got issues, mommy issues? Daddy issues? Anger issues? Take a look around you. Nobody cares. Nobody gives a fuck. Go on then. Scream. You lost a child? So what. People die eventually. It was just their turn. Ash to ash. Fuck that.

Everyone hates you? Everyone bullies you? Nobody likes you? You have attachment issues? You should have died at birth. An abortion would have been a solution. We all suffer. It’s not news. So he broke your heart? She stomped on it? Grow the fuck up. You are a waste to the society. You are alone, so what.

You have mental disorders? Self diagnosed? Have issues? Fix you first. Stop being dependent. Be yourself. So you sell yourself. Should we be sorry for you. Pathetic.”

Punch by punch the blows came. At first it was unexpected, but as time went by, I got used to it all. Every torture and new realizations. Stuck in a world that never gave a care. I was the human in a pool of insanity. A depressed society that was glued together by their brokenness.

The fact that ripping people apart was a norm shouldn’t have been acceptable. But I was just a human. Just an individual. Stuck in endless cycles of hate. Powerful treatments that only needed pain. The pain that only brew with time. Innocence was redefined by the desire or vengeance that clouded their souls.

Everyone should’ve taken a second look, but who was everyone?? There should’ve been a solution to all that. But how could you block punches that came from the people we trusted, the people we thought believed in us, the people who were broken like us? Thought we had a connection. But everything was redefined.

Everyone was broken. Everyone was depressed. Happiness became an illusion and trust became a bucket of shit. Everyone had no reason to hope. To stay longer. People cut connections like it were althe final cure to constipation. But it was just beginning.

Life shouldn’t have been hard. But then again life was never hard. It was all our doing. It was all on us.

It’s world mental health day. I should be saying something. Talking about something. But what can I say that you haven’t heard already. What can I write that you haven’t read already? What can I tell you to make you think today is different? We all have heard everything.

Everything that breaks us. Everything that gives us hope. Everything that makes us trust. Everything that keeps us going. But then again, we have all heard what makes the chords break involuntarily.

We have read things that shouldn’t be happening.

We have encountered lots of crap in the little lives we have lived.

Technically we have heard everything. It’s the same story about hope. But what’s hope? I don’t know what you think hope is. But let’s face it. Everyone is hurting, but that doesn’t mean you can stomp on someone’s pain. It doesn’t mean you can ignore your pain.

Granted we have heard all these things. But just because someone is going through worse shit than you are, it doesn’t make your pain any less. It doesn’t make you any insignificant.

It doesn’t make you stupid.

It doesn’t make your pain worthless of attention.

It doesn’t make the air any more breathable.

I grew up in a world where good or bad no one gives a shit.

I wish I could say it’s all in the head, but I’m not so sure anymore.

Whatever happens, take good care of yourself. We might be broken, fucked up and shit, but nobody is going to take better care of your mental state than you.

I won’t be your pastor today, but whatever happens, remember you are just as important as everyone.

You are just as worthy as those people you think are worthy in your head.

Be kind to you. You are a very important person. So own it.
