BY Sheila Mumbo
Our love has withered,
Better than the autumn leaves,
I’m left wondering and asking,
What’s left for me?
Our love has ripped my heart out,
Killing me on the inside,
Leaving a chasmal cavity in my chest,
Tell me, did I deserve this?
Our love has dropped me,
Making my soul tremble with fear,
Shattering and battering my charisma,
How will I piece back the fragments?
Our love has run dry and weak,
Sucking life out of my heart,
I’m left chasing the same love,
Tell me, is this what love is?
