Silence! Listen to our tale down here folks.
Once there was two of us in there hoping.
At first her thoughts filtered down to us,
They leaked through like dark impulses.
I nudged my mate and his pleading eyes,
Spelled comprehension of this atrocity.
She thought she would not be able to love us,
Her mind reeks of vengeance against the rapist.
“I’m too young and have an eventful future to plan,
This is my body and it’s my choice-it’s a democracy concept.”
At first we did not know what to expect at all when she agreed.
We could feel she was lying prone and tilted a little waiting.
I heard the clang and ding of metal first and just knew.
The moments before we saw the spoke were apprehensive.
It edged closer along the canal tearing tissue and scraping bits of flesh.
They finally tore through the sac and poked us trying to pierce us.
The amniotic draining away protected us and they withdrew the spoke.
It all began as a soft tug and a ghastly draft that was chilling.
The suction collapsed the uterine wall all around us and we screamed.
He gave up first and was torn away howling, his cord trailing along.
The lights were bright and harsh all around,
We were very much alive in the petri dishes,
I lasted two hazy minutes gulping for air,
Here we are now lying in slime and waste dumped,
Hey mate how long till the mongrels sniff us?
