I had no choice, if I did maybe I’d choose you.
Eyes that bore the soul, maybe I’d keep you.
If I had any choice, I’d prolly with this haven’t gone through.
Young and naive, scared to disappoint those around me.
So when the results came, and a life was created within me,
I couldn’t think for a minute, so they decided to deal with it.
They told me it was the right move, not sure for me or for them,
Mum scared of the scandal, father scared of the shame,
The boy who got me pregnant, can’t remember his name.
I wish I had a choice when they said, you were terminated.
A slight relief of escape, a cool chilled guilt that swept me away,
I killed you before you had a say, before you could ever move in me.
Now staring at this other one, your brother I just had,
Tears fill me for I have no idea, if to him you were ever a brother or a sister.
I wish I had a choice, I would have been strong enough to keep you after all.
