SEASONAL LOVE

Some people have a very dangerous gift

And a very sweet tongue, to make you feel all the right things

While they lay with some other people, or go to bed at night thinking of anything but you

And honestly its very tiring and exhausting

To know exactly what you’re worth

To know how little you mean to someone

To know how much they take you for granted

But still hold on, hold on to the hope that they will change, that they will love you back

And it happens when you’re with them, you really do  feel loved

But only for a while, until you see a text message you weren’t meant to see

From someone they said they stopped associating with

Someone you know means much more to them than you

Love hurts, wearing your heart on your sleeves is dangerous

Because some people will worship you during the day, make you feel loved in all the right ways

And at night, they will be talking to someone else the way they talk to you

They are the kind of people who love seasonally and they are the worst kind of heartbreakers.
