By Josephat Msagha He packed and moved out
Saying to us he couldn’t bag it in
Proclaiming his love, accepting her
And not his seed growing in her
He wasn’t ready to be a father
For that mystery he got further
Came crushing down like thunder
A thud she could handle
You see he was her pillar
Ride or die through life
Joked about her being his future wife
Made a vow to her for an endless love
She was left to wander in her abyss
On how to accept his absence
And embrace what was now a reality
Facing it till the end of times
For he had left her
Because she didn’t want to let go of what was formed out of love
In pain she cried alone in the cold nights
Facing hurdles from her own family
Wishing all events were a façade
Strong, she flanked up to her fruit
Hopefully bidding bye to Felicia
Welcoming to life her next mystery
In silence she opened up her wings wide
Ready to face the incoming storm
