Hopelessness reigns in me
Wishes are gone
Smiles faded away
Left behind is a wrinkled face
Life has lost its meaning
It has become a pain in the ass
Suffering and gnashing teeth
Has become the new norm
Bright lights dim
A broken heart weeps in silence
Stitches left for the streets
Pain burning like coal
A marshmallow me
Begs for love
But receives hate
Due to community’s love for hate
All these are unbearable
Giving up clouds my thoughts
Urging me to quit the race
The light is fading away
