Good morning my morning star
It’s long since I felt your scars
And more from the last kiss
And so this morning I grant you bliss.
My afternoons don’t smell anymore
The butterflies I loved the most are gone
I cannot find a suitable shade
A shade better than your fade shadow.
My nights are angry and gloomy
With scary dim lights everywhere
I no longer feel the crickets sound
Maybe it’s because you left the pond.
My greatest fears are calling for you
Because my strengths are dead
The parts that felt your touch need you
It’s only in you that my world remains blue.
