From standing by your side,
To standing by your grave,
This was change,
But I needed to be brave,
A new chapter at a different age,
A different life, a turn to a new page,
A virus easy to tame,
Yet it took your flame,
And left me with a picture on a frame,
And no one to blame,
They called it life,
A game of have and lose,
How was I supposed to start again.?
I still hear your voice in the night,
Your laugh through the silence,
Your words ,our memories, all a play in the mind,
An imagination that never ends,
Yet the killer still trends,
Once we were inseparable,
Now we’re separable,
All I have is ring of marriage,
No courage to begin,
A new start without your smile,
A part of me left when you left,
A virus that left my hope lame.
