MY MISTAKE.

I made a promise, to love,care,provide,
A vow to keep till death,
But I didn’t,
I chose the money,
The luxury,the merry,
Family came second,
A mistake I recall in every second,
We were supposed to build an empire,
But I killed the foundation,
I destroyed the formation,
I burnt the relationship,
It was all my fault,
It was all me,
In silence, reality hits hard,
She begged me to stay,
One more chance ,she cried,
But I still turned away,
Ego was my crown,
Money marked my identity,
But now, I put on a crown of shame,
It was my mistake,
I put out the love flame,
The story changes to what I once had,
Family remains a picture on the frame,
Life was a game,I couldn’t tame,
I am to blame,
Caged to the guilt that never wilts,
This was not just a tilt of life,
This was my fall.
