Look at your life and wonder what will ever work

Work on your mistakes, while actualizing all fantasies

His absence ought to have brought the best out of you
You needed a Dad not a father
And so he just fathered you
Think about him till you get used to the pain
Till you start laughter at your flaws
Till his absence feels like a blessing
Let it hurt, till it can’t hurt anymore
Remember it only hurts when we keep it to ourselves
It pains because we’re overprotective of the situation
Why not talk it out till you cry
Why not think of it till migraine strikes
And then the pain becomes part of you
Why can’t you…
They say work on your worries
Focus on happiness and not pain
But fact remains if we hide the pain it will kill us
So why can’t we embrace it
And make it part of our daily lives
To a point where it never matters what happens anymore

Just master the pain
