Perusing down my memory lane
I took flashbacks of how it really started
Young kid I was
With an untamed mind
Of true innocence
When I was introduced into it

Without questioning
I had to abide by
Though not so realistic
They said it was all by Faith
And belief
In the unseen
With ancient quotes
And lines from an old book
Written by some so believed
“fathers of faith”
With whom it all began…
by whose guidance we all did abide

We used to utter
Words in silence
With a belief of being heard
And also answered
Some could mumble in confusion
And lie it’s the spirit
Some used to throw insults
In the name of corrections

Giving they said
Is better than receiving
going against human instincts
We gave out
To the unknown
Only benefiting some known
then die waiting for a reciprocation

And growing up
Being of sane senses
I too had questions
And after asking
They said am possessed
till now am still wondering
Who’s the one possessed?
