Wanted somewhere to fit in

Showed love
Wanted friendship
I blindly gave in
Swiftly blended in
But all he wanted
Was to get in
Soon gifts came in
I always knew
It was wrong deep inside
“You’re beautiful” he said
Something I wanted to hear
