DARK CLOUDS

Gone with the wind
Her curly black hair floating upwind
The mind jumbled
Not a clue on how to unwind
She sat silent, motionless

All they did was mock
She couldn’t budge like a mountain rock
All doors for exit were locked
And her fate was docked

She was at a stand still, frozen
The mind wandering off
A dark cloud aloft
She couldn’t move forward
She couldn’t step backward
She was in limbo
He made sure of it

By night sexually abused
By day mocked
Much she’d do was sit
And think of a day it would all pass
If at all that day came
And she knew not if it will
But hoped it would

End sexual violence
Be reasonable
Stand against the menace.
