HURTLE

I find myself drawing a line
Maybe later than the required sooner
Shining a light on the protruding shiver
Blocking my sight from the bigger picture
I can feel the tug getting harder and harder
Violent kicks sooner than they even should be
A proper caning amidst cunning arrogance
But I still tread the bloody waters head first
Snipping and cutting with every possible might
Bleeding sin, splurging fear and terror
The aftermath more liberating than shaming
Some oversight and they’d call me a sinner
Any court and such would be a murder
A bashful river of sinful scenes way beyond
Maybe I was of a different setting
But even differently I’d still choose the same.
