He married a lady so beautiful
She bore us ‘n’ become fruitful
The lady’s our mother
To dad the lady’s his wife
With so much love
Dad has sired kids
And his children we are
Daddy’s special.
Everyday he’ll toil
Go to the farm for a while
He hunts and carries logs
Sometimes his back hurts
But he endures it all
To bring food on the table
Indeed dad is special.
He’s the family’s head
His advice and wise words we heed
Its amazing how he loves us
Through hard work he has made progress
Providing our needs he gives his best
With all the little savings he’d invest
Dad has passed every life test.
He gave mum a house
Mother made it a home
And now a family we are
We feel complete
With none to compete
Dad we proud of you
That makes you special.
For us you go miles
Your protection we embrace
It gives us full confidence
You are always there
Giving us a listening ear
You understand us so clear
To us you so special.
some are lucky, to have fathers
Others are not, and thats okay
