HER STORY.

It’s been long since I told you a story,
It’s one that relates speaketh about love,
It’s one path that has been trodden on by few people,
It’s a story of sweet love.

She grew up in a harsh neighborhood,
Full of crimes everytime,
An area full of wrongs and the strong,
She met Life’s red eyes at a tender age.

She vowed within herself and by her lost self,
That men’s hearts weren’t built for love,
But damage and breakages,
That sight just like smell led them.
She called them dogs.

Rape is not in my history of bad experiences,
She was raped uncountably without help,
She kept quiet,
The whole community was silent in the dark.

She grew up and breasts blossomed on her chest,
Buttocks bloomed on her bottom,
And hair found new places within her ,
She was grown and brown.

She met cards and letters on her doorstep,
She ignored calls and messages on her cell phone,
She pierced through hisses and buses,
She listened to no man.

She fell in love,
With a beautiful lass,
An enchantress,
One with beautiful lips and hips,
Just like hers.

I’ve learnt love her more,
Not because of her past stories,
But because of her own victory,
That love can be found anywhere.

And this has taught me a lesson,
Move elsewhere when your presence isn’t appreciated,
Find others open doors when the one you opted for is full of misery,
And lastly, find your own joy and live happily.
