Why is the economy on drag?
Coz’ you abuse drug
With thought you feel high
But you have kept limit even to your eyes

You take cocaine
With idea of gain
Reality is that you have lost
Everything including your weight

You call drinking a hobby
But it has turned you a zombie
You lack the working ability
But not from any disability

You don’t even sire
Not lack of desire
Your organs can’t react
Coz’ you have been an addict

You call smoking a fashion
But look what it has done
You can’t escape the disease
Cancer throat will attack with ease

And the liver cirrhosis
Coz’ you can’t miss the bars
To children no school fees
Even the basic needs

This creates tension
You aren’t building the nation
Just keeping us in grieve
For you dig yourself a grave

Can’t you be wise?
Say no to drug abuse
And adhere to the calling
Of nation building.
