NOT A GAY BY CHOICE

I am present in the State
All questioning my state
Give me all ears to narrate
Not a narrative but it is real

You are all judging
Unfortunately not changing
Assigning me to hell
But am not in it by will

Home changed to an abbey
Doing it because I was a baby
From father to abbot
Then I never learnt a lot

She too became an abbess
Of this my opposite became less
My gender I did relate
The reason am in this state

Not a monk or nun
But all cared none
I don’t know my role
But I answer my gender roll

A gay am all it
Not my fault
Neither was it a choice
Nor was it I was held loose

From opposite secluded
Away from them guarded
Protecting me they thought
Problem to me they brought
