From the start; told you they were not good for you,
The love flourished,
I gave it my all, not knowing they’d be the reason why I’ll leave.
You gave me your deaf ears,
To them you listened, you believed !!
I took the fault for them, dealt with the unexplainable things, not knowing that still, I’ll leave.
The love replaced with hatred,
The respect with disrespect, you did so as you threw all those insults at my face.
It was a win for them; brainwashed you with all the lies.
Found it hard to shed tears, I couldn’t take all that in,
Ever felt forsaken?
The love faded at that moment,
The struggle was not really worth it,
Time wasted.
It came to pass. That’s why I’ll leave
