Her dark sparkling hair
Her sweet embracing smile
Each day asking me to bring the best out of me
She taught me how to pray
Reminded me of the power of forgiveness
That I should forgive for God to forgive me
She asked me to opt forgiveness over revenge
And taught me the power of prayer
That I should trust in Him who is in heaven
She asked me never to give up
No matter the struggles and pain I encounter
To have faith, patience and hope
To remain positive and focused
And that tommorow would be better
So don’t judge me for trying to do the best always
Don’t blame me for being an obedient girl
I respect my mama
I do not want to fail her
All this I do for her
Because I love her
