By Sheila Mumbo
There’s a silence full of colour,
It melts and spreads like angry tides,
So calmly like it’s the norm,
Rolling swiftly with emotions,
Dancing her hair to a certain tune,
Her presence freezes my veins,
Blurring my memory dangerously,
Fear, panic, anxiety, hyperventilation,
Fill up the space in my bones,
I’m shaking like a grass blade in a sandstorm,
She ignites every cell in me,
Awakening a river of blank chaos,
Time drags better than a snail,
I fade into my blurred memories.
