By Josephat Msagha
A seed in the womb
Formed out of love
A mistake they say we are
A disaster of their lifetime
Things happened so soon
You just destroyed my future
Like I had sent an appointment letter to you two
With a rush without thinking about us or even asking what we want
They let us go because our cries cant be heard
Full of dreams and hope
Just yearning for a chance to cope
Get to know what the world holds
But that we don’t get to see
Metals puncture us out of our sea
Pleading the undertaker to stop the torture
Stills our cries cant be heard
In pain with unseen tears
Turning to God for a calm ending
And that’s how he forgives, whom we came from
For our cries cant be heard
