Time has made me older and life has made me old
My bones are thin and brittle, my body feels the cold
For countless nights I cries
Thinking of a way to forget you
Being hurt cannot be denied
For you have changed my life

But heartbreak is deeper than most
Walking alone is all that is left
To sleep forever and forget the pain
That one was felt with no gain
Stabbing through with your concrete blade
You shattered my once indestructible heart
I thought I was strong- could handle the pain
But your force and power left me broken in vain
I asked myself why
Did you have to keep me hanging on so long
then say goodbye
I wish you would have told me from the start
Because of you, all I have left
