You did a good job at capturing my attention,
It’s amazing the work God did in you.
Words fail me when I try to describe,
all the feelings in my heart,
leaving it racing and beating for you.

They say, “A man is as strong as the feelings he hides”,
but written on my face is the love I have for you.
I guess I can only be less of a man.
Forever would have been lovely with you in it,
Yet here I am holding on to only our memories.

Can time tell?
Maybe it can’t and will never tell,
how much of my future I planned with you.
These notes are never enough,
Neither are my tears.
