The Ex Visit

The night was superb
Next to me you sat
All your eyes on me

Deep in them i saw love
I saw how your heart melted with joy
Every time our eyes met
I saw your heart painted my name
I could feel how it all danced to my rhythm

All these reminded me of yesterday.
Of how in a minute you changed
Into a monster, and all you saw in me was a riffraff

I remembered how my heart bled
How you left a hole inside of me
How your wound striked so deep
How you left me in the rain
When i needed you the most.

Our yesterday memories are too dark
Bitter like lemon
Sharp like a sword
Depicting no future
A reminder of what love is.
A reminder of how value is lost
Of how two people in love, can turn into strangers
