Darkness

And so this evening came
This dusk full of dark and gloom
I had had a bad day in class
And so she came along for a glass.

Eddie was just another friend by day
He too had to sleep for a two lecture time
And so it was evening and raining
It was meal time, two separate rooms.

So he left,
And never came back till late
So she stayed,
On my bed she laid.

Just like the evening grass
My fingers found piece in her grasp
And just when the forehead met
Off the lights went, it was so magical!

Then came the nose,
And remember that darkness, no noise!
And so did the lips kiss and twist
I wished to leave, but how was I?

Her boyfriend knows am friendly
But how would he be when he knew we were more friendly?
And so she left for her books that night.
Because the next day she had a war in class.

I came home today
Because I didn’t know what else to do or say
My heart is still beating for someone else
And so I still can’t find peace in myself!
