Cost me a piece of me
She cried her liver out to me that her only bird flew away
Leaving her broken and desolate
And my smile today
Gave him strength to move on

They looked up to me to be their healer
And my warm smile today healed their broken aura

Was full of wisdom from my past muses
But my smile today hid all my anxiety and insecurities
