ESTRANGED LOVER

Again, I keep dreading those roads
The warm smiles that got me silly
Gentle grazes that had me singing
And oh my damn!! I was already trippin
He was my angel off the top
A little deeper and all hell broke
Light and dark a perfect bloat
So I packed my bags to sail his boat

I kissed more bottles than I did his lips
Fought his battles with smoking sticks
Feeding off the love he left lingering on my chest
Yearning for a straggle amidst that volcano he kept brooding over
Heck I even prayer to God ‘bout his sins
And he loved me like a thing he owned
Scarring my body, his own masterpiece to mould
Maybe love was just a piece we all wanna paint our own color
And he bloodied me with monstrous covers.
