None we’ll Care but I’ll share.

NO’NE CARES BUT I’LL SHARE.
My names Katherine ,And am suffering
A mother of five, Standing to declare
That no one really cares.
Though none will care, I have much to bear
Lotsa pain to endure,But i’ll spit it out here.

You said my rights are safe, But I have heard enough
I need my relief, A sigh to heave.
You said you care, But my heart into pieces you tear
Leaving me in despair, And reporting I can’t dare.

I still have to be home,Very early to awake
Everyday is a rally, my family got to prepare,
My husband sits there, I also get tired from work
But no one cares.
I must multitask, They expect a lot
Be caring and loving, While am wailing

I feel powerless, With no prowess
My freedom is so expensive
Even though am assertive
Am still discriminated, Mine issues ain’t believed
Cause they think am relieved, when my rights off am ripped
Am still suffering, My dreams are shuttering.
You said its me you helping,But you torture my healing.
Am in much pain,I need help
My husband rapes me, And says its a way
Of showing love n Care.
In the office, Am harassed by male boss
But threatens me not to dare
Report to the police.

I told you I need therapy, But you claim I seek empathy
Expecting me be a shoulder to lean
But nowhere my problems to pin
I tried vying for a seat, But the male competitor oppressed me
Claiming women can’t lead ,So I lost to him.

My rights am deprived, My culture against me turned
Mother in law dislikes me, Cause am not a housewife
She calls me disrespectful…
So am here to share, Women are still of value
They need to be loved, Their grievances be heard
And that doesn’t mean ,That gender equality
Is a womanistic approach
The truth is we are still victims of gender inequality.
